As this is our last sunday in Kazakhstan, most of us spent the time on having lunch in a korean restaurant and going to Kok- Tobe hills.

JULY 1ST - COUNTDOWN STARTED!
Hi, everyone!
From today on, we have 6 days to have everything done for the final presentation to our client staff, 7 days to have everything done to media presentation and 8 days to go back home! HURRY, HURRY!
Despite of that, THANK GOD IS FRIDAY! Tonight we're going to have dinner in a local restaurant. Ainura, our local focal point, will be at the lobby of the hotel at 9 PM to pick us up.
Nothing is scheduled for tomorrow. On sunday, we'll have lunch in a korean restaurant an then go to Kok-Tobe hills. I promise I'llshare some pictures with you.
Well, since there is nothing scheduled for tomorrow, I'll make the next post on sunday, and take all saturdat for rest.

JUNE 30TH - JUNE HAS GONE!
It's amazing how time flies when you're working hard, or else when you're having fun. We're here for 20 days and could't even notice that!
In my particular case, both things are happening simultaneously, that are: working hard and having fun. Even in my most optimist thoughts, I could never imagine that I'd have a pleasure and the honor to be part of a team like mine.
This way, I'd like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all my team members.
Anjana, Asha, Bia, Bruno, Desikan, Eri, Jennifer, Nayana, Rosane, Sandy, Tae Hoon and Vaidy, YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!
Weel, time to go back to work.

JUNE 29TH - FORMING, STORMING, NORMING, PERFORMING, MOURNING
Hi, everyone!
Most of you must have heard about those 5 steps on building a team for a project: forming, storming, norming, performing and mourning.
Our 1st step (forming) happened before we got there, when the teams were assigned for each client.
Our 2nd step (storming) happened (it did?) during the early days of our 1st work week, when we had to adapt ourselves to each other, in order to mak things happen.
Our 3rd step (norming) happened from the middle of the 1st week to the early days of 2nd week.
From the middle of 2nd week to nowadays, we are experiencing our 3rd step (performimg), when all teams reach their maximum capacity to do their jobs.
I won't talk about mourning now. Maybe on the next week, which will be the last one (wow! time flies...)
Well, time to go back to work.

JUNE 28TH - CONNECTION DOWN!
Hi, everyone!
Since last friday, I am experiencing some problems on connecting my laptop from the client. This way, I'm working offline from the client's office, updating some document or slide set I'm working on, and trying to do online tasks from the hotel. The problem about that is that the wi-fi connection of the hotel only works in a reasonable way if you connect from the lobby of the hotel. It's almost impossible to connect from most of rooms, the farther is the room from the wi-fi antenna, the hardest to connect. Just FYI, my room is the last one, therefore the farthest from the antenna :-(
This way, now I'm known on 2 different ways: for the CSC teammates, I'm "George, the Voice". For the rest of guests and for the hotel staff, I'm "The Lobby Guy".
Today we''l meet at 7 PM at Conference Room to make the Harvard Business School incountry Team Activity.

All teams are currently swamped up with their respective tasks on their clients, with everybody working hard, and so do I.
Now, we are currently working on a brochure for our client, and also on the final presentations for the client and the media. Therefore, no much to talk about for today, and most likely for the next days of this week.
